Race Photos!

Today I figured many of you would be off enjoying your holiday weekend with family and friends, so I thought I’d post a few race photos from the Chicago Rock N Roll Half and the Race For the Cure that I clearly stole from the websites… Gotta love the “snip” tool on my computer (it takes pieces of screen shots that I select).

Happy Labor Day!

And no… I will not be ordering any of these… Ha.

Do you have any horribly awful or particularly good race photos?

  1. I don’t have any particularly awesome or awful running photos, but I used to have quite the intense race-face when I was rowing. I definitely looked like I could take on an army tank and come out on top!! However, I have to say that the best day in the gym I ever had was the day that a friend and I took pictures of the last rep of weight sets that we were working to failure. They were hilarious!! I didn’t know my facial muscles were capable of contorting in such ways!

  2. Your pictures look good! Especially crossing the finish line! I’m guilty of always taking screenshots of race photos too. My mom did order one for me from my first half marathon, and I like having it, but I don’t think I’ll ever order one on my own. I made Craig follow me around during the marathon and take pictures and chat with me every 5-10 miles :-)

  3. i love your pictures! you are so pretty!! i ran my first half marathon in april and the pictures that were supposedly me were pictures of a man named sam. i kept getting emails about them too …haha major mistake since i am a girl and my name is hilary. haha. i have another half in less than 2 weeks so hopefully they will get it right! :)

  4. Ever since Ridiculously Photogenic Guy, I feel so much pressure to look good in race photos hahahaha. Tragically that rarely happens. I had a couple from the BTN Big 10K that looks pretty good in mini form, but I couldn’t get them to expand, so I don’t know how they *actually* look. Chances are I don’t want to know, either…haha.

  5. Hi! I’m new to the blogging world, but I’m living in Chicago too & just wanted to let you know how much I like your blog! Where do you normally run in the city for training? The lakefront? As someone who loves to run, but hates waiting at traffic lights, I could use some “running in the city” tricks. Blog post topic maybe??
