Tuesday Thoughts?

Soooo I realized I’m probably not going to be posting a Thursday Thoughts post this week since 1) It’s Thanksgiving and I’ll hopefully be enjoying family time and 2) you all are enjoying family time and no one reads my blog on holidays! However, I have a LOT of thoughts piling up for this week so I thought I’d go ahead and do this on Tuesday! It’s really my favorite post of the week…

1. SURPRISE!!!! Okay, not really a surprise, but a change of mind. I’m heading home for thanksgiving TODAY instead of tomorrow morning! Why? Well, I realized my only class today included listening to presentations, and honestly I wasn’t going to pay attention, so why not just go home?! I actually considered going home yesterday afternoon, but I had a PT appointment this morning that I didn’t want to miss. Plus I SAVED $$ my moving my flight. Gotta love Southwest.

2. Check out my guest post today on Kamila’s blog, Sensual Appeal! I write about motivation for any goal that you might you have – whether it be running a marathon or getting through grad school!

3. I already mentioned that I’m listening to Christmas music, but I LOVE the Glee Christmas station, especially all things Michael Buble. This man has a gift. Is it weird that I decided about 7 years ago that I want him to sing at my wedding? I should start saving $$ for that one…

And yes, apparently I was listening to Christmas music at 6:35am…

4. My friend sent me this picture the other day. Can you tell what’s hanging from their car? How cute and clever is that!?!?

5. I finally tried the Kombucha trilogy flavor. I usually go for the safe ones, like raspberry, cranberry, etc., because I don’t know what trilogy means?!?! Anyway, I was enticed by the pretty colors and the sale price so I tried it and it’s great! Still don’t know what flavor it is though…

6. I was at a grocery store grabbing a couple necessities that I couldn’t find at Trader Joe’s and I saw this on display. It was fate.

7. So I’m already doing Tina’s Best Body Boot Camp, and Amanda’s Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge, but I saw this challenge today and I’m super tempted, mostly because you get an “elf buddy” (aka another participant) to encourage and who encourages you! I just think it would be fun!

8. Another music obsession? Glee’s Grease album! I LOVE Grease (who doesn’t!?!?) and I loved the episode so much that this happened:

I really need to work on this whole not spending money thing…

9. Yesterday I realized I had extra time to get work done because I didn’t have Girls On The Run practice. So what did I do? I went and hung out with Molly. #sorryimnotsorry

What’s your favorite kind of music/album right now?

Have you ever tried Kombucha? What’s your favorite flavor?

Do you have anything decorating your car?

i’m holding out on christmas music for just a couple more days if i can wait. i always try to make it past thanksgiving and some years i’m better than others. i love southwest in a major way – the fact that you can change your flight last minute and get money back is why they are the best airline. except for when i check in for my 7:10 flight at 7:11 and get b16. grrrrrrr.

I have never tried Kombucha…I wanted to look for it this weekend when I went to Whole Foods but didn’t even think about it when I got there. Next time for sure though.
My boyfriend is obsessed with that Michael Buble cd…I got it for St. Nicks day last year and it has already started playing in the car.

Also a Michael Buble fan over here. Apparently his grandmother lives in the same neighborhood as my grandma and all the neighborhood is keeping their fingers crossed that he will do a little performance. Good luck ladies…

I signed up for that Elf Challenge and I definitely need some motivation with my fitness right now. I’m currently reading blogs when I should be running #storyofmylife

    Cute puppy!

I don’t hide the fact that I love Bieber’s holiday album!

That hot sauce rocks my socks!

Have a safe trip home and enjoy! 🙂

Thanks for sharing the Elf for Health Challenge. I just signed up and am excited for it! Have a great time at home!

No holiday music for me yet… although I’m thinking about it soon! Currently loving the Three Days Grace album “Transit of Venus”. So good!

Haven’t tried Kombucha… wondering what all the fuss is about though, so maybe next time I see it someplace, I will.

Love the Molly pics, too cute!! 🙂 Have a safe flight & enjoy your holiday!

still thinking about it, I just don’t want to stretch myself thin with too many challenges!

I’m so excited (and insanely jealous) that you get to go home today!! I’m itching to get back to Michigan!

I love the Kombucha trilogy but I really love gingery things (the gingerberry is my fave) and don’t like the strawberry, cranberry flavors for whatever reason.

    And siracha’s the best!

  8. Kammie @ Sensual Appeal

You know people always talk about Buble and I can’t place it.. I have no idea if I’ve heard him before or not. I know the name but just I’m unsure. I am excited for Christmas music, it makes me so happy – total mood booster. I’m waiting till after Thanksgiving to start listening though.

Trilogy has always been my favorite flavor! FYI it’s raspberry, lemon and ginger.

Exciting you get to head home early! The weather is great here in KC this week, too.

Haha, I love One Direction’s first hit (I think it’s called What Makes You Beautiful? something like that) but I didn’t like their other songs as much. Guess they weren’t as catchy?

  10. Lia

Hahahaha! Love the Glee love. You’d have whole lot of challenges goin on with that one added on. Enjoy your early trip home! I’m heading home early too, so happy about that, but that just means earlier for Christmas. Friendsgiving this year for me.

This summer I saw a Shrek car. There must have been AT LEAST 250 action figures in addition to stickers and a wicked awesome paint job that made the car look like the carriage that Fiona and Shrek drive to Far, Far Away in the second movie. And the torso of Prince Charming was hanging out the trunk and there was a Donkey head on the roof to make him look like he was popping out and looking backward in traffic — SO EPIC!! I couldn’t get my camera out before the light changed!
Ps. Spending time with Molly = best way to spend unforeseen free time. I do the EXACT same thing with my Koda.
