Accountability has meant everything to me when it comes to sticking to my goals.
While getting over all my disordered eating, I gained quite a bit of weight. After keeping it on for about two years, I just felt really uncomfortable in my skin. I'd one a lot of inside work to improve myself and love myself, and I realized that when you love something, you want to take care of it. It was time to take care of me and my body, but nothing I tried worked out. Honestly, I had a hard time sticking to anything 100%, until I met my coach, Anna.
I joined an accountability group with her, doing the 21 Day Fix and drinking Shakeology, and for the first time in a very long time I actually stuck to the program and saw some results. Nothing dramatic, but to me, it was a pretty big deal. Being a coach, I'm running groups every month and keeping myself accountable to my challengers as well, which has made such a huge difference in my fitness journey. When it becomes a daily habit like this, I actually WANT to get in my workout (well, most days, haha!).
That's why I coach: I want to pay it forward.
I have gained so much from working with my own coach and then becoming one, I just feel an overwhelming need to share all the things I love with other people. I want to share the gift of accountability with you.
Are you like me?
